1. What involvement have you had with IAHSS (past and present)?
I have been a friend of IAHSS for many years and have presented at the BC Chapter 20th Anniversary event, the 1st annual IPS / IAHSS Education Summit and at the 2018 AC&E in Chicago   

2. What habit / training / philosophy most helped you progress in your career?
Take opportunities as they are presented.  Expose yourself to other people, companies, ways of doing things.  Invest in life long learning……go to school, continue your education. Never stop learning.  


3. What, if anything, hindered your progress?
I completed an undergraduate degree, a Master’s Degree and a Doctorate Degree while working full time.  There is never a right time or enough time, but you must try if your are committed to your craft.

4. Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give yourself at the start of your career?
Listen more, speak less.

5. What professional achievements are you most proud of? 
The Frederick Thrasher Award, my Doctorate Degree, and my work with gangs in BC


6. What are your goals for the future?

Retire!
