IAHSS Launches Updated Workplace Violence Prevention and Mitigation Certificate Program

The International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) is proud to launch an updated IAHSS Workplace Violence Prevention and Mitigation Certificate Program - newly revised and modernized for today’s healthcare environment.

Originally program launched in December 2021 and has been completed by over 1,000 professionals. The 2025 update was led by a new team of leading subject matter experts.

Updates to the Program

The enhanced curriculum now offers a dual focus on prevention and mitigation, reflecting the evolving challenges faced by healthcare workers—who remain at the highest risk of workplace violence across all industries.

The updated course will be available starting December 2025 and is open to all healthcare professionals committed to creating safer care environments.
