Data and Privacy Protections: Protection of your data is paramount to the IAHSS. All data is stored and safeguarded using industry best practices. The Benchmarking Dashboard’s data model does not contain nor accept Protected Health Information (as defined by HIPAA, PIPEDA, or other applicable privacy laws). Data Submission: You agree to submit Batch Identification, Facility Data and Incident Data, via our secure transfer and mapping tool to be published in the IAHSS Benchmarking Dashboard. Your data will not be sold or shared beyond publication in the dashboard. Program Purpose and Data Usage: By participating, you grant IAHSS a license to deidentify and publish your submitted data in the Benchmarking Dashboard, enabling participating hospitals and researchers to benchmark security practices against similar facilities and to support research on hospital security. Data Anonymity: Incident categories, facility names, department names, and incident report numbers will be deidentified. A Privacy Guard feature will be used to block drilling down to views containing less than five participants’ data. Dashboard Access: You will receive free non-transferable access to the annual Benchmarking Dashboard to view benchmarking results and support internal business processes.
