IAHSS Unveils New 3-Year Strategic Plan to Strengthen Impact and Growth

The International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety is pleased to announce the launch of a new three-year strategic plan.  It is a forward-looking roadmap designed to enhance the association’s impact, sustainability, and value for members and the healthcare security and safety industry. Developed through extensive collaboration with stakeholders, this plan sets a clear direction for the future, ensuring that IAHSS leads excellence in healthcare security, safety and emergency management.

“Our new strategic plan is a reflection of our commitment to innovation, excellence, and the evolving needs of our members,” said IAHSS President, Dan Yaross, MSM, CHPA, CPP, CPTED Practitioner. “Through this plan, we are positioning the Association to better serve our IAHSS member community, strengthen the healthcare security, safety and emergency management industry and build a sustainable future for the industry.”

Key pillars of the 2025-2027 strategic plan include:

• Influence Policy and Decision Making: Help influence a positive policy and decision-making environment for considering healthcare security and safety issues at the state and organizational levels.
• Security and Safety Professional Leadership and Proficiency: Healthcare security and safety professionals will be competent, credible, and effective executives able to effectively lead healthcare security and safety operations in healthcare organizations.
• Global Credibility: The association will be globally recognized as the leading source of information and expertise on the current and future healthcare security issues.
