IAHSS Represents Healthcare Security and Safety at ASHE International Summit & Exhibition on Health

The PDC Summit in San Diego had more than 3,000 attendees, and IAHSS had an opportunity to participate in a panel on The Future of PDC&O: How will we overcome our field's challenges on Tuesday, March 20, 2024.

Mark Reed, CHPA, IAHSS Southern California Chapter Chair, and IAHSS Council on Guidelines member, discussed the IAHSS Security Design Guidelines for Healthcare Facilities, 3rd Edition and the IAHSS Workplace Violence Prevention Program.

This presentation helped drive awareness of the built environment in healthcare and how we can impact keeping staff safe through design.
