Dear IAHSS Members,
The board of directors is excited to announce the launch of our new strategic plan for 2022 to 2024, designed to support the mission of IAHSS, leading excellence in healthcare security, safety and emergency management. The strategic plan plays a vital role in determining the focus of IAHSS, and establishing goals for the association as well as outlining the blueprint for achieving them. Our strategic plan is focused on our three strategic pillars:
- Mitigate Violence in Healthcare
- Education through Technology
- Community Engagement
The steps necessary to advance these strategic pillars are explained in the strategic plan. Our strategic plan is ambitious and only possible because of the dedication of our members, volunteer leaders, and headquarters staff. I have always been impressed with the level of commitment and willingness of our volunteers to do the hard work that keeps our association and our industry moving forward.
