IAHSS President Clay Presents at Rice University on the topic of Workplace Violence Mitigation

IAHSS President Eric Sean Clay, CHPA, CPP, presented at Rice University on Friday, June 28th. He gathered with security leaders at the Security Leader Global Hybrid Event organized by the Security Executive Council. 

Clay was part of a panel discussion with fellow IAHSS members Chief William Adcox and Ray Gerwitz, CHPA from MD Anderson Cancer Centers. Clay also presented a session titled, “What’s Workplace Violence Mitigation Going to Look Like in the Year 2030,” in which he was asked to look into the future and discuss technologies that security practitioners would be using to better protect caregivers, patients, and healthcare facilities.   

The session supported the IAHSS strategic plan priority "Mitigating Violence in Healthcare."

In attendance were more than 130 representatives from corporations, educational institutions, and nonprofits from around the globe.
