IAHSS Launches Healthcare Executive Protection Guideline

Monday, April 4, 2022

The International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety has recently launched the Healthcare Executive Protection Guideline to provide guidance to enhance security measures for the safety of individuals who may be exposed to elevated personal risk due to their employment, high profile status, affiliation or geographical location.

Today’s healthcare executives are highly visible in the media and in our communities. Today’s executive’s face political, financial, strategic, organizational, and personal threats.  Executives and Security leaders must recognize the risk and take steps to protect their executives and the corporate image of their organization. Organizations’ senior leadership, including CEO’s themselves, are, after all, often viewed as accountable for the actions of their healthcare organization.

The Healthcare Executive Protection Guideline was developed by the IAHSS Council on Guidelines, and is available for free to IAHSS members.

Members Only: View the IAHSS Healthcare Executive Protection Guideline.
