IAHSS Launches CHPA Mentor Program

The IAHSS Council on Education and the CHPA Prep Subcommittee are pleased to announce the launch of the CHPA Prep Mentoring Program.

This members-only benefit is designed to help IAHSS members as they prepare for the CHPA - at the beginning, middle or end of their journey. Connect with CHPA leaders and strengthen your professional network.

The CHPA mentoring program offers a semi-structured setting in which to develop beneficial one-on-one relationships between mentees and mentors. Acting as a friend, a teacher, and a guide, mentors have the opportunity to encourage and advise mentees by sharing their own experiences, resources and knowledge. The exception for this program is that the mentee will be more prepared for taking the CHPA exam.

CHPA Mentor Program

What is the CHPA?

The Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator certification program is the highest level of certification intended for healthcare security professionals with management responsibilities. The CHPA designation is awarded to candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and pass a comprehensive certification examination.
