Message from IAHSS Foundation President Bonnie Michelman

I am pleased to announce that our 2021 Crime Survey will be arriving in your email inbox soon. The results of this survey will provide the data and trends we all need to help us get better resources and funding for our programs and to see how we compare to other hospitals around the United States. The survey is for US members only right now and you should receive it in early April. If we don't get credible, complete response from at least several hundred health care facilities, the results will not be usable, so it is vital for all hospitals to participate. This is the only healthcare survey of its type, and I can't stress enough the importance of taking the time to complete it. As an incentive, respondents will have the option of being entered into a drawing for a $250 Amazon gift card. All responses are confidential and only aggregate results will be reported this summer. Any questions about the survey can be sent to Ron Hawkins, who chairs the Foundation Research Committee. Thanks so very much and please keep an eye out for the survey.
