The new IAHSS Basic eLearning course for healthcare security and safety officers is an introductory program in healthcare security and safety. Some of the topics included in the Basic course are defining security's role within a healthcare organization, communicating effectively throughout the organization, using technology on a security assignment and managing high risk situation and areas.

New Basic Certification Exam

The IAHSS Commission on Certification has developed a corresponding Basic Certification Exam.

Purchasing options

The Baisc eLearning course is $70 USD and the corresponding certification exam is $75 USD. Save $15 by purchasing both the Basic Course + Exam as a bundle.

- Individual users will need to login or create a new account with purchase

- Training Coordinators/ Facilitators for an organization can purchase eLearning and online exams in bulk and distribute credits to employees.

2. CHECK/PO:

To purchase eLearning courses and/or online exams by check or purchase order, send order details and payment to the IAHSS Headquarters. Allow up to 5 business days after payment is received to access the course and/or exam credits online.
