2021 IAHSS Board Nominations

The 2021 Board of Directors Call for Nominations is now open. In accordance with the Association's bylaws and its Election policy, we are soliciting candidates for the following positions
- President-Elect
- Vice President/ Secretary
- Member-at-Large
IAHSS Nomination Packets must include the following completed documents:
- Position of Interest Document
- Candidate Bio and Questionnaire
- Reference Questions

Minimum Criteria for Candidate Eligibility
President-Elect: Professional member in good standing three years prior to nomination and a Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA). The Candidate must have a minimum of two years experience as a Regional Chairperson, Chapter officer, Commission or Council Chair, or Board Director prior to taking office of President-Elect.
Board of Directors: Expecting the positions of President-Elect and President, who specific terms of office are set forth in the bylaws, each person elected to the Board of Directors shall serve for a term of two years and must be a Professional Member in good standing two years prior to the nomination. Except for the Member-at-Large, candidate must have a minimum of one year experience as Regional Chair, Chapter officer, or Commission or Council member and a Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) prior to taking office. All Board of Directors candidates must have a minimum of two years' experience as a healthcare security or safety director or manager in a healthcare facility.
Nominees must submit their Nomination Packets online no later than July 15, 2020. Nomination Packets should be emailed to info@iahss.org.
