IAHSS Workplace Violence Prevention Certificate Program SOLD OUT
Healthcare workers are more likely to be subjected to workplace violence than any other industry. Leveraging the expertise of top
subject matter experts in the field, IAHSS has created a new, comprehensive, and first-of-its-kind certificate program focused on creating an effective workplace violence prevention program – with healthcare security and safety leaders at the center
of all multidisciplinary efforts.
This 2-day virtual education course was developed for healthcare security leaders. It will give you the knowledge, tools and support to develop, manage, maintain and evaluate your workplace violence prevention
program.
This course is on Tuesday, January 18 from 10am-1pm CT and Wednesday, January 19 from 10am-1pm CT.
During this 2-day live interactive course, you will learn to:
• Understand the goals, objectives, priorities and critical elements of a compliant and successful healthcare workplace violence prevention program.
• Build strategies for using data and worksite analysis to inform decision making, increase leadership and stakeholder engagement, and continuously improve an evolving program.
• Prepare the healthcare workforce to prevent, respond to,
intervene, and recover from acts of violence; with an emphasis on training and building short, intermediate, and long-term protections against harm.
