April 27, 2015 [Glendale Heights, IL] - The International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS), the only organization solely dedicated to professionals involved in managing and directing security and safety programs in healthcare facilities, announced today that it has officially launched its new website.
The new IAHSS website is easy-to-navigate and offers IAHSS members a content-rich experience and an online community. The member only areas offer access to the member directory, discussion forums, thousands of published articles, industry guidelines, and best practices. The IAHSS Store enables customers to quickly and easily order IAHSS branded products, training manuals, publications and certification exams.
According to Colleen Kucera, Executive Director, the new modern design of the website reflects the professionalism of the IAHSS membership. The new structure is better equipped to meet the needs and answer questions of the members and other interested healthcare professionals.
“For nearly 50 years, IAHSS has built a vast array of guidelines, training manuals and tools for those interested in the security and safety of healthcare organizations. Our goal is to make the information better known and more easily accessible,” Kucera commented. “We are a long-standing organization in a continuously evolving industry, and the association is also evolving to provide education, training and networking in new formats that new and long-standing members alike may prefer.
Kucera reviewed numerous website companies and chose Your Membership, Association Management Software, because it is a single platform that manages all member data including: membership dues, member profiles, event registrations, email marketing, e-commerce store purchases, social networking community interactions, and more. “It’s not only easy for the members to use, but it also allows staff to quickly retrieve and analyze data that will provide insights for running the association more effectively,” states Kucera.
