  IAHSS Greater Houston Chapter is proud to present


"The 3rd Annual Security Summit."


When:  Friday, November 11, 2016


Time 7:30 am - 2:30 pm


We continue to develop and grow our summit each year; last year being no exception. This year we are expecting record attendance, expanded conference and exhibit space and a great line up of speakers. We are also inviting TAHFM and ASHE facilities’ leaders with security oversight this year as we better align with the IAHSS strategic mission.  Approximately 50+ healthcare security and facilities professionals from the Houston and surrounding areas will be in attendance.


Topics and Speakers in this year's event include the following:


 Security Risk Management – presented by Mike Hogan, Texas Children’s Hospital


  • Leadership and Executive Expectations – Presented by Michael Butchko - Military executive positions, CEO and COO of large operations with medical clinics, medical personnel either on-staff or with established MOUs, and Mutual Aid agreements with area hospitals, Board/director membership for regional Red Cross, Executive with Security, Safety, Police, and Fire as part of operations portfolio


  • Emerging Technologies:  Taking your Hospital Security Program to the Next Level – presented by Cale Dowell  - leads strategic growth and business development for Allied Universal’s Monitoring & Response Center, where he is focused on identifying risk mitigation opportunities across a variety of markets and verticals. His function includes directing threat and vulnerability assessment and solution identification while working closely with design, engineering, and operations. He has been extensively involved in the education of remote managed video and analytics throughout the industry. His work includes specialized projects in oil & gas, retail, commercial real estate, healthcare and critical infrastructure. Cale currently sits on UL’s committee to develop new standards for remote video monitoring and managed video services. He graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Entrepreneurship, is a published industry contributor, and speaks three languages.


  • Body Cameras, Philosophical and Technical Challenges – presented by Harris County Sheriff’s Department
