You will be notified by the proctor of your examination whether you passed the exam. Each successful examinee will then receive a numbered certificate containing their name and expiration date.
Those who achieve certification are also eligible to add specific credentials after their names.
- CHSO - "Certified Healthcare Security Officer" may be added for those completing or maintaining basic certification.
- CAHSO - "Certified Advanced Healthcare Security Officer" may be added for those completing or maintaining advanced certification.
- CHSS - "Certified Healthcare Security Supervisor" may be added for those completing or maintaining supervisory certification.
